The truck is back on the road, so that means more trips to the lakes and even downtown for a walk around Calhoun/Isles/Uptown. How to take pictures of fireworks
I’m guilty of not thinking enough when it comes time to take a picture of fireworks. Sure, you need a faster lens and a different perspective to focus on the people, the scene or how the fireworks change the environment. I was blown away by Thomas Prior’s photos this 4th of July 2011. Enjoy!

Well written and well reasoned piece from Christopher Bowns. cbowns: Too many of the biggest sites on the internet today provide “free services”: they choose not to charge their users. This is a costly mistake that we’ll see play out again and again over the next few years….
